Hyperlite was founded in 1991 by Herb O’Brien, and quickly became a well-known water ski manufacturer. Soon after, O’Brien recognized an extreme potential in wakeboarding as a new water sport, and thus worked diligently to create revolutionary products for wakeboarding. Since then, Hyperlite has designed the industry's leading wakeboards, and has dedicated themselves to create new and improved boards every year. From behind boat to cable parks, Hyperlite offers a diverse selection of boards. Their boat boards are typically built with more curves, and are also known as a rocker, unlike cable park boards which are flatter to make it easier for riders to hit rails.
